Yet another session where it feels like I am hanging out with old friends…. and I loved LOVED this family. Little man, N, is just nine months old and a rockstar. Major props to daddy for getting some Elmo songs playing, which turned those little grins into full out giggles. How can you not smile when looking at his precious little face. Absolutely ADORABLE. Awhhh cousins… your very first best friends in life. You probably recognize a few of these adorable kiddos… but this time we got to capture their cousins too!! A and J were in town from Jersey visiting for the week and we snapped a few shots with the whole group. FYI: Wrangling 5 kiddos and getting em all looking is kinda hilarious, but we made it work! Here are just a few sneaks peeks of our time together.
Quite honestly, I don’t know how I got so lucky…. I am doing what I love and loving all the fabulous families I meet! This session was no exception. This little girl was absolutely precious and a BREEEEZE. Not all kiddos love me right off the bat, but little Miss M thought I was HILARIOUS – which helps me get those awesome giggles right out of the gate. Back at a favorite local spot in Schaumburg, we just bounced around the farm and played around. M LOVES danger and be flipped/scared and tossed – my kinda a girl! Haha! Oh and that cry picture? GAAAH, so cute. And don’t worry we snapped one picture and picked her back up. 😉

Two months of planning… and it WORKED! 🙂 I have to admit, I am not the best at keeping secrets or hiding anyyyything… so this surprise birthday weekend was a HUGE success.
About two months ago, I received an email from Stacie, Lisa (my BFF)’s other BFF about meeting up in NY to surprise Lisa for her birthday. Welp, you don’t have to ask me twice. After running the weekend by her husband, Kevin, and getting the official OK – plans were in the WORKS. Since Kevin is a NY police officer and works nights (and needs to sleep during the day), we needed to reinforcements to help us steal her away for the day. Kevin enlisted her in-laws to take care of their two little munchkins (4 and 2) so that we could give her a weekend full of relaxation and girls time. Reservations were made. Plans were coordinated. My plane ticket was booked. This was happening!!!
Love, love, LOVE meeting back up with past families! It’s like hanging out with old friends… good times for sure! 🙂 This was the 2nd time I have photographed this sweet family of SIX. We literally just hopped around the park chatting and laughing. Cuteness times FOUR. Loved them. <3
Yet again, I get to meet the COOLEST people ever. This awesome couple is no exception!! Connor proposed to Whitney at this historic Elmhurst theater, so it was very important that we capture them here! I love the retro vibe this sign gives off and how cool they look below it. We ended up just wandering around downtown Elmhurst and finding the most awesome little nooks and crannies. A very playful, fun-loving (and hilarious) couple; I enjoyed every second of our time together. Congratulations you two!!!!
Do you remember this gorgeous family from last summer?!! Hands down… it was one of my most favorite shoots-to-date. Welp, after an iffy day of weather (it poured only an hour before our scheduled shoot time), we got to meet back up again. And man, oh man, they didn’t disappoint. Gahhh. I got to meet little man, C (whom was in momma’s belly last time) – who is soooooo ridiculously cute (handsome). Big sis is full of soooo much personality and charm… I love her!! First thing she said to me was, “I REMEMBER YOUUU!” Which is pretty much amazing. I don’t remember what I did last week! HA! They all rocked it and once again, looked stunning!!
Three kiddos under three years made for an interesting session, but we laughed it off and worked through it! It was a pleasure meeting this family in my childhood hometown/park for a gorgeous morning session. Full of love, hugs and good times and a little staticky hair.
Awwwwh man, this is the last time I’ll get to hang out with this awesome family… they’re moving to Texas this fall. SAD, SAD, SAD!! I’ve been lucky enought to capture some sweet moments in their lives and have been photographing Baby B since she was 7 days old…. I am most definitely sad to see them go. Super happy we were able to squeeze in one last session before the took off for NO winters, warmer weather and sunnier skies. Best of luck to you alllllll!! <3
