{B} Family: 1 Year Milestone
I swear, I blinked and this kid is a year old. I first met Colton back in February when he was just barely 4 months old. Due to my ruptured achilles injury, which I had done the night prior to their session… I had to reschedule on them (which I neeverrr do). But with the snow that blanketed the ground, I was so happy they were able to wait a week or two until I got my bearings. What a joy it has been this past year capturing this little guy at his major milestones. His hair got a little more tamed, his big blue eyes are even brighter and that smile… oh dear, lord… makes me go nuts. I love, loved capturing this guy and I am so sad that our monthly meet-ups have finished. Take a peek at some early favorites from this ONE year session!
{L} Family + Nine Months
What can I say about little Leah… I mean, I’ve watched her grow up at every major milestone these last nine months. She is just toooooo cute for words. This big girl is crawling, chatting it up and loving life! As I was driving over to this location, it started POURRRRRING rain – but as soon as I arrived. The rain called it quits and we got the most perfect sunset/night out at this lagoon in Glenview. How gorgeouuuus is this light?!?! <3

Check out this little guy’s blue eyes? Getting bluer every time we met, I tell ya! I first met little C back in February (about two weeks after my injury) and I cannnnnnnot believe three months has already flown by! Whaaaaat?! His adorably unruly hair was a bit more tamed this beautiful Saturday afternoon. Colton is a pint size ball of adorableness. I can’t handle how big he has gotten alreaaaaaay!! Whoa, whoa whoa. Time has simply gone by at lighting speed. It was just last week (I swear) that I photographed this little man as a newborn… right? But here we are, Atticus is standing (almoooooost walking) and babbling/chatting up a storm with me. His a little charmer, I tell you. It’s been absolute pleasure capturing this little guy throughout his first year of life. Man did that year fly byyyyyy!!! Happy 1st Birthday, little man!
