1st Year

{R} Family + 1st Birthday

Little man, Griffin is turning the big ONE this weekend and ZOMG, look at those eyelashes. And seriously, those two tiny, cute, bottom teeth? They KILL me. I spent Wednesday night with this absolutely adorable family capturing their little man hit this BIG milestone. A shoot filled with lots of kisses, cake smashing and one adorably, happy boy – I think it’s safe to say this one was a blast. Ps. I think he likes cake… But being messy? Not so much. My kind of boy. Happy Birthday, Griffin!!!! <3

{R} Family + 1 Year

Little Miss Scout is officially ONE year old!!! I first met her last September when we documented her 6 month milestone and she wa sa had an amazing time this past week snapping these shots of happy, go-lucky Scout. She was a huge fan of me AND my camera and I could not have had more fun with her. Happiest of birthdays, baby girl! 😉

{H} Family | 9 months

Atticus is officially NINE months old…. I swear this happened overnight. Totally into music, toy cars and his stuffed animals – this little guy has gotten too big, too fast! If you scroll to the very bottom, you can see our milestone progression – watch time flash by! 🙂

{L} Family + 1 Year

I met up with this family on the warmest day of January – after a Polar Vortex, I wasn’t sure if we were going to be able to make outdoor sessions in January a possibility, but alas – we got a 40 degree weather day! Whaaat?! Fabulous. This was my first session of the new year and I couldn’t have had more fun with this little man. He LOVED fake laughing and would respond with his own little real laugh – absolutely adooooorable. Happy Birthday, P! 🙂

{L} Family + 3 months

Holy moley… baby girl is already three months old? Time is a flyyyyyyying. You might remember baby L from our newborn session back in September. Man on man has she grown. Those cheeks? That hair? Those EYES?! Absolutely adorable. We even had a few moments to go outside and grab some wintery shots – LOVE this sweet baby girl. I cannot wait to capture you as you grow! 🙂

{H} Family + 6 months

How quickly time flies by… Atticus is already six months? WHEN did that happen? As a photographer, I am privy to some special moments in your lives and getting to capture this little man’s first year? Lights out amazing. We did some similiar shots to the first two sessions and I have to say it’s SO cool to see each shot recreated each time. Little man is FULL of giggles (particularly when he is warm) and curious about many of things.

{S} Family + One Year

Happy Birthday, Little Man! For anyone weary of my 7:30 am slots… this family knows what’s up! The light at this time was dreamy (a lot like my evening sessions) – so I was so happy we got to meet up and take advantage of this light goodness. We played and hopped around Lincoln Square and snapped this preciousness. How CUTE is this little guy!?

{F} Family + 1st Birthday

I’ve been lucky enough to watch this little princess grow over the past year… and for her birthday shoot we got to play with lots of fun bows and balloons – how CUTE. We had a great night in Glen Ellyn and had the park pretty much to ourselves (and the geese – which I sat or stepped in about 10 times). Ha! {R} Family + Milestones

I’ve been photographing this BEAUTIFUL family since little man was about a year old. His blue eyes are ridiculous… and his sister has a pair to match. Are they not the most gorgeous family ever? The light at this spot was to DIE for…. especially since our location of choice was closed to the public (a first for me), but we improvised and rocked this session out. {H} Family

Talk about a PERFECT night for a photoshoot… Gaaaaah!! An hour before sunset and the sky is practically golden – my favorite time to shoot (photography world calls this the golden hour). This is the third and equally, fabulous time I’ve met up with this family. They make my job SUPER easy and fun – these kiddos are the sweetest, little munchkins around. So flipping cute.
