Awwwwwwwwh seet amazing thing are happening for the {S} Family. Sweet Evie turned two YESTERDAY and she will soon be a big sister (3 months from now), but what a fun shoot. We met up on another fabulous summer night in Itasca at a spot that is quickly becoming a favorite place to shoot: SpringBrook Nature Center. Gorgeous light. Gorgeous family. Gorgeous trees! Little Luke…. GAH! So so so so cute. I met up with this adoooorbale little family on an unusually (for this summer anyway) hot summer night in St. Charles. The bugs were out and this little boy ROCKED IT. Such a pleasure meeting a family that loves on each other the way these three do. What can I say about little Leah… I mean, I’ve watched her grow up at every major milestone these last nine months. She is just toooooo cute for words. This big girl is crawling, chatting it up and loving life! As I was driving over to this location, it started POURRRRRING rain – but as soon as I arrived. The rain called it quits and we got the most perfect sunset/night out at this lagoon in Glenview. How gorgeouuuus is this light?!?! <3
Awwwh little Mac is NINE Months – but quite possibly looking a lot older than 12 months. Little man is almost standing on his own and ready to move and groove – awayyyyyy from me. Ha. Loved capturing this little man’s milestone at one of my favorite spots in Schaumburg. A mix of serious and sweet, he rocked it. <3
Ahhhh A is already THREE years old?! What? How? When!?! I first met up with this adorable little girl she was just FOUR months old. Quite possibly, the sweetest, nicest kid around – this girl is turning THREE on Friday! Time sure flies when you’re having fun. Happy Birthday, A! 🙂 Sneak a peek at a few favorites below:

Can I just say how much I looooove repeat familiessssssss!?! Got to reunite with this adorable fam after a year and a half and WOw have they grown! Met up on a wonderful 72 and sunny night at this gorgeous spot in Downers Grove. I just can’t handle it. Every single bug bite was worth it. <3
When going through these photos all I could think was how HAPPY these kiddos are. We met up on a very fall afternoon and just played in their backyard…. and had a blast. Lots of screams (playful ones) and giggles – we ran around in circles and captured this family as they are… happy! 🙂
Oh man, theseeee boys were two of my favorite kiddos this YEAR. LOTS of laughing, superhero poses and dance parties were had during our time together. This family was up for ANYTHING. Awwwhhh this was my first time meeting up with this sweet Californian family. After 5 years in San Fran, this adorable family of four is now calling Winnetka their home. Both boys (3.5 and 1.5) were HILARIOUSLY awesome from the moment we met. Little man handed me a toy camera and big bro was showing me how faaaast he could run (fyi: he is VERY fast). We had a blast racing/skipping around Centennial Park… the sun even came out for a quick visit! <3 Brace yourselves for Winter, {J} family.
Those cheeks! Those blue eyes?!?! Gaaaaah, Hayden was a blaaast to photograph.. I mean, seriously… how cute is he?! <3 H is just about 6 months old and almoooost sitting up on his own. Little rockstar will be there before mom and dad will know it! Many thanks to this awesome fam for meeting up with me on one of the last few amazing nights in the city (before it gets toooo cold).
