Has it really been a year?! Sweet Teagan is already ONE year old! (Seriously, time… slow down. Awwwwwwwwh seet amazing thing are happening for the {S} Family. Sweet Evie turned two YESTERDAYÂ and she will soon be a big sister (3 months from now), but what a fun shoot. We met up on another fabulous summer night in Itasca at a spot that is quickly becoming a favorite place to shoot:Â SpringBrook Nature Center. Gorgeous light. Gorgeous family. Gorgeous trees! The sweetest, STRONGEST and most adorable family just grew to FIVE … as precious Kaitlyn arrived into this world a total surprise (the fact that she was a GIRL). Awwwh lots of pink/bows and all things pretty are coming your way!!! Jen and I go waaaay back and I am thrilled to have been able to capture her family as they grow, adapt and even move homes. K is healthy, happy and already hardcore Gawel — as she underwent heart surgery just a few days old. All is well, but they just had to give her a little extra lovin’. And baby makes FOUR! I first met this adorable family last summer, when Stella turned the big ONE. This year I was incredibly honored to be invited back into their lives and capture their newest family member, just three days old… Owen. Big Sis, S is still warming up to the idea of him, but you can see her softening with the little kisses she showers him with daily.

Awwwwh the most beautiful grandparents are on the blog today! This shoot was a present to the grandmother of these adorable little grandkiddos. We met up on what WAS a really sunny/blue sky day… but lately downtown Chicago is being slammed with random fog and this night was no exception. What can I say about little Leah… I mean, I’ve watched her grow up at every major milestone these last nine months. She is just toooooo cute for words. This big girl is crawling, chatting it up and loving life! As I was driving over to this location, it started POURRRRRING rain – but as soon as I arrived. The rain called it quits and we got the most perfect sunset/night out at this lagoon in Glenview. How gorgeouuuus is this light?!?! <3
Awwwh little Mac is NINE Months – but quite possibly looking a lot older than 12 months. Little man is almost standing on his own and ready to move and groove – awayyyyyy from me. Ha. Loved capturing this little man’s milestone at one of my favorite spots in Schaumburg. A mix of serious and sweet, he rocked it. <3
This beautiful little family is growing by one this fall and this little man is ONE years old!!! <3 Lots of fun things ahead for this crew. I met up with this sweet (and amazingly funny/kind) family at at North Pond Sanctuary and had a blast hopping around the neighborhood with them. Absolutely precious. <3
Sometimes you just gotta eat before you ready to do a shoot. Little E took a few minutes to warm up to me… but it was worth the wait (and snack).  Those little cheese rabbit crackers are amazing! This little girl is gonna be a big Sister this fall and is turning two shortly. As you can tell, she is full of personality and sweetness – Absolutely.a.blast to photograph this gorgeous little family! Sneak a peek below:
I’ve know Jen since I was 12 years old – so it was a huuuuge honor not only to capture her sweet little boy, but her whole family!!! (Whom I’ve also known as long). Little Man, J is just about the cutest little kid around. We clicked from the word GO! Full of energy and independence this little guy was up for exploring every little spot in the park. LOVED him!
