{B} Family: 1 Year Milestone

I swear, I blinked and this kid is a year old. I first met Colton back in February when he was just barely 4 months old. Due to my ruptured achilles injury, which I had done the night prior to their session… I had to reschedule on them (which I neeverrr do). But with the snow that blanketed the ground, I was so happy they were able to wait a week or two until I got my bearings. What a joy it has been this past year capturing this little guy at his major milestones. His hair got a little more tamed, his big blue eyes are even brighter and that smile… oh dear, lord… makes me go nuts. I love, loved capturing this guy and I am so sad that our monthly meet-ups have finished. Take a peek at some early favorites from this ONE year session!

{M} Family… They’re Baaaaaack! <3

The most adorable, sweetest and hilarious boys (and their sister) are baaaaack. I will say it over and over again, I LOVE repeat families and it was such a pleasure to see the {M} Family once again. Due to summer rainouts/accidental haircuts we had to reschedule a few times and it turns out.. it was for the absolute BEST. A perfect fall (with a taste of summer) night and we were off. These guys ROCKED, laughed a lot and we had the most amazing colors. In’t this family just gorgeous?!?! I don’t know how momma wrangles these four kiddos in… mad props!

{C} Newborn

Meet sweet Carter. Just 8 days fresh. <3 I love love love repeat families and I have had the honor capturing this beaaautiful family for the past three years and am humbled that I once again got invited to their home to capture this time in their lives. Carter is already incredibly loved by his big brother and big sister… its too cute for words. Congratulations to this absolutely amazing family and their newly expanded family of 5. I adore you all and love so many of these moments:

{W} Family + Baby Bump K

Haaaaaaaaands down one of the most beautiiiiful families EVER! I love, LOVE that I got meetup with this crazy, awesome crew this again year! Even cooler – momma rounded the corner of the car with belly in tow! What a fun and fabulous surprise!!!! Baby boy is due to arrive in mid October and these two kiddos are super pumped for him to get here (though they are very against helping with diapers I’ll have you know). Congratulations, W family!!! {P} Family + 3 Years

Sweeet Paige turned THREE last month… what the heck!? If you’ve been following my blog you’ll know that this peanut was born almost four months EARLY. So the fact that she is not only here, but happy and healthy is quite the miracle! Even MORE exciting, she is gonna be a big sister this November!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Absolutely amazing and so cool. Happy Birthday, P. You make 3 look good, girl! <3

{R} Family

Awwhhhhhhh look at big these boys have gotten?!? When did that HAPPEN?! I’ve photographed this sweet fammily for the past three years and each time I love them more and more (is that possible)? Big bro M was allll about this shoot (it helps having iron man strapped to my camera), but such a sweet, little man he has become. Gentle and kind to his little bro (at least for me and these pictures) – he has grown up so fast! Little man W just turned one last week and is all about doing what he wants and showing his independence. LOVED seeing how much these guys have grown!!! <3

{S} Family + Two years + Maternity

Awwwwwwwwh seet amazing thing are happening for the {S} Family. Sweet Evie turned two YESTERDAY and she will soon be a big sister (3 months from now), but what a fun shoot. We met up on another fabulous summer night in Itasca at a spot that is quickly becoming a favorite place to shoot: SpringBrook Nature Center. Gorgeous light. Gorgeous family. Gorgeous trees! Newborn {K}

The sweetest, STRONGEST and most adorable family just grew to FIVE … as precious Kaitlyn arrived into this world a total surprise (the fact that she was a GIRL). Awwwh lots of pink/bows and all things pretty are coming your way!!! Jen and I go waaaay back and I am thrilled to have been able to capture her family as they grow, adapt and even move homes. K is healthy, happy and already hardcore Gawel — as she underwent heart surgery just a few days old. All is well, but they just had to give her a little extra lovin’.
