Happy Birthday, Little Man! For anyone weary of my 7:30 am slots… this family knows what’s up! The light at this time was dreamy (a lot like my evening sessions) – so I was so happy we got to meet up and take advantage of this light goodness. We played and hopped around Lincoln Square and snapped this preciousness. How CUTE is this little guy!?
Little Miss Teagan is officially THREE months old. Time seriously needs to slooooow down. Little sister to three loving girls, T is never without hugs or kisses for very long. Sneak a peek at how big she has gotten! <3
Another gorgeous night this fall! This adorable family of five and I met up in downtown Oswego for a fun session full of trains, swings and fall goodness. Three boys under four years made for a fun and energetic shoot! We bounced around the park and even took advantage of the train tracks just a few steps away; as big brother LOVED trains. <3
One of my favorite families!! This is the 2nd family I ever photographed (A was just barely 1?) and am lucky to have met up with them for another fun shoot! It was another gorgeous fall night in the burbs and I was more than happy to hop around Naperville with this adorable family of four. Full of spunk and sass, these two kiddos will always be two of my favorites! <3
I’ve been lucky enough to watch this little princess grow over the past year… and for her birthday shoot we got to play with lots of fun bows and balloons – how CUTE. We had a great night in Glen Ellyn and had the park pretty much to ourselves (and the geese – which I sat or stepped in about 10 times). Ha! Just a few sneak peeks for now… But Happy (almost) Birthday, K!
These kiddos CANNOT be this big already… can they?!?! See the {S} Family is another one of my “First Fams” = the families that took a chance on me my first year doing photography and my oh MY do I love them. Meeting up with them is like hanging with old friends – within seconds we were goofing off and bouncing around the farm. It has truly been an honor to watch these munchkins grow up…. Yet another session where it feels like I am hanging out with old friends…. and I loved LOVED this family. Little man, N, is just nine months old and a rockstar. Major props to daddy for getting some Elmo songs playing, which turned those little grins into full out giggles. How can you not smile when looking at his precious little face. Absolutely ADORABLE. Check out some cute sneaks… oh and ps… I ADORE the shot of mom and dad at the end on the bench. #heavenly <3
Quite honestly, I don’t know how I got so lucky…. I am doing what I love and loving all the fabulous families I meet! This session was no exception. This little girl was absolutely precious and a BREEEEZE. Not all kiddos love me right off the bat, but little Miss M thought I was HILARIOUS – which helps me get those awesome giggles right out of the gate. Back at a favorite local spot in Schaumburg, we just bounced around the farm and played around. M LOVES danger and be flipped/scared and tossed – my kinda a girl! Haha! Oh and that cry picture? GAAAH, so cute. And don’t worry we snapped one picture and picked her back up. 😉

Yet again, I get to meet the COOLEST people ever. This awesome couple is no exception!! Connor proposed to Whitney at this historic Elmhurst theater, so it was very important that we capture them here! I love the retro vibe this sign gives off and how cool they look below it. We ended up just wandering around downtown Elmhurst and finding the most awesome little nooks and crannies. A very playful, fun-loving (and hilarious) couple; I enjoyed every second of our time together. Congratulations you two!!!!
Do you remember this gorgeous family from last summer?!! Hands down… it was one of my most favorite shoots-to-date. Welp, after an iffy day of weather (it poured only an hour before our scheduled shoot time), we got to meet back up again. And man, oh man, they didn’t disappoint. Gahhh. I got to meet little man, C (whom was in momma’s belly last time) – who is soooooo ridiculously cute (handsome). Big sis is full of soooo much personality and charm… I love her!! First thing she said to me was, “I REMEMBER YOUUU!” Which is pretty much amazing. I don’t remember what I did last week! HA! They all rocked it and once again, looked stunning!!
